Whether it's cooking or salads, there's no denying the need for raw chilies. But if you buy raw chilies and keep them at home, they rot or dry out very quickly. Even if you keep them in the refrigerator, raw chilies dry out. How to store raw chilies to keep them fresh for a long time? Find out the tips. 

• After you get the peppers from the market, wash and dry them. Place them in a ziplock bag and seal it tightly so that no air can get inside. Store the bag in the refrigerator.
• You can also store the chilies in a sealed container. Before storing the chilies, lay a dry, clean cloth under the container. Place the container in the refrigerator.
• You can wrap raw chilies in aluminum foil and store them in the refrigerator. This will keep them fresh for many days. 
• Never store peppers with the stems in the refrigerator. If you tear off the stems, the peppers will not rot as quickly.
• Store the peppers in a jar, bowl, or bag wrapped in a kitchen towel and in the refrigerator. They will keep for 20 to 25 days.
• Do not store peppers in polythene bags. Remove any rotten or dried peppers before storing them in the refrigerator.
